Dear Parents,
Please find attached two documents from the Department of Education that we are expected to forward to the parents. I would like to stress that these decisions are being made above school level and we would like to thank parents for being as understanding as they can be- I know some people may not be in favour of the new procedures, but we haven’t been given any freedom to implement them in our own way.
We are trying to adopt a pragmatic approach, after these requirements have been landed on us, and from next Monday we aim to implement the requirements. This will give families time to seek medical advice if they feel they need to do so.
