History is for all children from junior infants to sixth class. The curriculum supports children to develop basic skills as an historian through a knowledge and understanding of people, events and developments in the past.

Trip to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park

Bunratty Castle Constructions

Mrs. Lordan’s 4th Class constructed Bunratty Castle using materials from home. They paid great attention to detail designing lovely moats, drawbridges, windows, doors and even a throne. Well done 4th class!

Ancient Egypt

Ms. Russell’s 2nd and 3rd Class have been learning all about Ancient Egypt this month. They designed beautiful pschents that were crowns made by pharaohs. Can you spot some of Pharaohs of Patrickswell?!
