Nursery Rhymes
Listening to and reciting nursery rhymes is hugely important for children’s language development. It helps children to practice pitch, volume, and voice inflection, as well as the rhythm of language. Through nursery rhymes children also develop awareness of sounds and rhymes. Composing Poetry
2nd and 3rd Class wrote poems describing how others see them. These poems described children’s’ personalities, characteristics and hobbies. They then drew self-portraits to accompany their poems.
