Geography is for children from junior infants to sixth class. The curriculum enables children to make sense of their surroundings and the wider world. They do so by developing a range of geographical skills as they explore the natural and human elements of local and wider environments.
The 3 Strands of the Geography Curriculum are

Life Within 5K
Mr. O’Connor’s 6th Class explored and researched their local area creating reports, presentations and videos about their ‘Life Within 5k’.

2nd and 3rd Class’ Trip to Curragh Chase
2nd and 3rd Class had a wonderful day on their school trip to Curragh Chase. They were delighted to be exploring the outdoors and learning about brilliant science, history and geography of the area.
