The Patrickswell Parent’s Association enables parents and guardians in our school to work together, to contribute positively to their child’s education. This is done by creating a collaborative working relationship between the school staff, principal, board of management and the local community. Participation by parents, pupils and staff is encouraged at all times and the parents association seeks to empower parents to play an active role in their child’s educational life. The parents association works to ensure each child gets the best that primary education can offer.
In addition to creating a partnership between school and home, the parent’s association also undertakes fundraising and awareness activities for the school. Participation is highly rewarding and is also a great opportunity for parents to get to know each other.
